These terms and conditions apply to all orders placed by the customer of Atelier Askaïa, www.atelieraskaia.com

Please read our Terms and Conditions before placing an order. By placing an order, you enter into an agreement with us and accept these Terms and Conditions. We may modify the Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any changes made after you have placed an order will not affect that order unless we are required to make the change by law.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

All orders will be made in Swedish krona (SEK) and the final amount charged to customers depends on the currency conversion performed by the customer's bank. Atelier Askaïa can not be held responsible for any currency changes or currency exchange rates any bank may have.

We accept Visa, American Express, Mastercard, Maestro, Union Pay and Klarna Checkout. Orders are subject to acceptance and availability. When proceeding with payment you confirm that you are the person referred to in the billing information provided.

All prices include country local VAT, although this is not applicable if you’re shopping from a non-EU country. Keep in mind that local import duty and tax costs may apply for those shopping from outside EU. We cannot be kept reliable for any import duty added to your order. 

To help ensure that your shopping experience is safe, simple and secure, we use Secure Socket Layer technology (SSL). This encrypts and protects the data you send to us over the Internet. You can tell if SSL is enabled because a padlock will display at the top of your browser, which you can click on to find out information about the SSL digital certificate registration.

PLACING AN ORDER

Before proceeding to payment, you can review your order and make changes if needed. Please note that the order will not be valid if Atelier Askaïa can not confirm the billing and shipping addresses that you provide. We also reserve the right to only accept orders from those aged over 18 years old.

We only sell items that we have in stock. Products may sell out during the shopping session, and stock availability will be updated once you reach the checkout. Please note that all prices and product information on www.atelieraskaia.com are subject to change.

ORDER CONFIRMATION

You will receive an order confirmation by email shortly after placing your order. Check your spam-filter if you haven’t received it after 30 min.

Shipping cost is estimated after destination.

All orders are sent from our store in Stockholm, Sweden. Taxes and fees may apply for orders outside the EU, we recommend checking with your local customs office what applies to your country. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel. 

DELIVERY

Orders are sent out within 1-3 business days after receiving your order confirmation. We send with Postnord.

Normal delivery time from the package has left our store is:

1-3 business days within Sweden

5-15 business days outside of Sweden. 

There may be occasions that make it impossible to fulfill the order, for example when our supplier or shipping company cannot fulfill their commitment to us. In the event that we need to cancel your order, you will receive a full refund on placed order amount.

We reserve the right to exonerate ourselves from all compensation to the customer regarding delivery delays caused by the shipping company.

RETURN POLICY

You have the right to return your purchase within 14 calendar days, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

The goods have to be undamaged and unused, with all labels or tags intact. Returns that are damaged or soiled, washed, altered or worn (other than to try the item on) may not be accepted. 

All SALE orders are final and we do not accept returns on SALE items. 

HOW TO RETURN A PRODUCT

If you wish to make a return contact us at info@atelieraskaia.com with a copy of the order invoice and a note of your wishes. If your return is accepted we will send you a return shipping label via email, returns are charged 59 SEK unless otherwise specified. 

You can also return free of charge in person at our store at Sköntorpsvägen 78, Årsta. Contact us first for approval of return.

Once we have received your return and approved it we will refund the value of the purchased product, excluding the original shipping and return cost. You will be refunded on your original payment method.

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. 

EU & INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

If you wish to return an order placed outside of Sweden you need to arrange delivery back to us at your own expense. Contact us first for approval of return. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. 

The goods are your responsibility until they reach our store. Please ensure you pack the return safely to prevent any damage to the products or boxes.

COMPLAINTS

Please check your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the problem and correct it.

Please include as many details as possible in your email including your order number as well as a picture if there is something wrong with a product.

In the event of a complaint about faulty goods, we always make a manual assessment and, if necessary, request the goods to be sent in for a closer assessment.  

Complaints about faulty items can be made within 3 years, however they need to always be reported within a reasonable time from discovering the fault. Complaints sent within 2 months from when they were discovered are considered to have been sent within a reasonable time. 

In the event of an approved complaint, our commitment is primarily to repair the faulty item. If we judge that this is not possible, we will replace you with a new product or refund your payment.

UNCOLLECTED ITEMS

Unclaimed packages will be returned to us. For all unclaimed packages you will be debited all fees in connection with the return delivery.

APPLICABLE LAW

Any dispute arising between a customer and Atelier Askaïa will be settled in accordance with Swedish Legislation. European customers: You may file your complaint online using the European Online Dispute Resolution: http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.
